Do I need a printed copy of the NZeTA?

We will forward you an email from the Government of New Zealand with the details of your issued eTA included in this email such as your application ID, NZeTA reference number, and NZeTA expiry date. 

We suggest travelers print this confirmation email and keep a copy with your passport. You can also have a soft copy and provide the information to the airline and immigration counter upon arrival. 

However, if you visit New Zealand by a cruise ship, you are required to have a printed copy of the NZeTA confirmation email.
